SoCal Mirage Retracrable Screen doors and windows allow the screen material to retract into an aluminum housing when it's not needed. Leave it installed year round; there's no need to remove them. The screen housing is compact and unobtrusive. Roll the screen into position when you need it, roll it away again when you don't. SoCal Mirage Retractable Screen can also handle the big jobs, like patios and garage doors.

The extended screen is kept in place by a magnetic latch and easily retracts with the aid of a spring.

SoCal Mirage Retractable Screens make conventional door screens a thing of the past. The screen fully retracts and is virtually out of sight when not in use. SoCal Mirage Retractable Screen doos can be made to fit almost any door application, including in-swing or out-swing doors, patio doors, entrance doors and French double doors.

Door Restrictor - Keeps your normal door from closing on windy days.

Slide Bolt Attachment - Locks in place one side of a double screen door to allow for easy exit and entry.

Sunshades - Mirage window screens (2) can also be used as a sunscreen. We use Phifer™ solar/insect screening material in place of our regular Phifer™ window and door insect screen. This material removes 65% of the heat generating rays, while still keeping out insects and offering excellent outward visibility.

Fasteners - Stainless steel fasteners with painted screws to match our six standard colors.

Impact and UV Resistant Plastic Parts - High-impact UV resistant nylon resin is used for all plastic parts.

Aluminum Housing - Maintenance-free housing and pull bar (3), coated with premium paints for optimum UV and salt spray resistance.

Door Handle - Unique door handle design (1) for a comfortable and easy grip.

Screen Mesh - Durable fiberglass screen material made to our specifications by Phifer Wire Products Inc., a world leader in fiberglass screening

SoCal Mirage Retractable Screens can custom manufacture any screen door up to a maximum height of 110" and a maximum width of 55".
Window screens are available with a maximum housing length of 78" and a maximum "pull" length of 55".
Window screens can be mounted horizontally or vertically. Screens heights are specified in 1/4" increments.

A virtual rainbow of colors is available! In addition to our six standard colors, shown on the right. We use the highest quality paint and powders formulated to exceed one of the toughest paint standards in the industry for UV and salt spray resistance, the AAMA 2603-98.

All of our Mirage retractable roller screens are painted in-house by trained Mirage personnel. This is especially important to ensure proper paint adhesion to the aluminum parts on the roller screen.
